Bogota Fashion Week

Bogota Fashion Week will be taking place on May 22-24, 2024. The fashion event is backed by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota(CCB) where designers are put through a thorough selection process. The board members of CCB are hand-selected based on their both international and national recognition.

Bogotá takes up approximately 42% of the country’s fashion market, solidifying its position as the second fashion capital after Medellín. According to the BFW website, more than 35,000 companies contribute to Colombia's fashion industry, bringing in over 240,000 jobs in the country. This event has drawn the attention of thousands of national and international media outlets. The primary objective of CCB is to spearhead and establish the city as a major global fashion capital, garnering support from both public and private entities.

Bogotá Fashion Week has a clearly defined agenda aimed at providing tools and a platform for the expansion of the Colombian fashion market through wholesale strategies, consequently bolstering its standing for retail sales on both national and international fronts.

Colombiamoda in Medellin stands as the most sought-after fashion event in the country. The event brings together two fairs under one event Colombian fashion, such as jeanswear, swimsuits, sports, jewelry and footwear inclduing, Colombia Textiles such as Supplies, Chemical materials, Machinery, Technology, etc. . As per Inexmoda, the event drew an impressive 70,000 visitors, generating a revenue of 14.4 million dollars for the city of Medellin. It brought together numerous exhibitors across Latin America, as well as participants from Turkey and Italy. Sebastián Diez, president of Inexmoda, highlighted the attendance of thousands of international buyers, indicating a substantial demand for Colombian fashion in global markets. This event unfolds at Plaza Mayor and various other venues across Medellin, a collaborative effort between the city and entities like Medellin Metro. The event brings together international presence, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, and local community engagement

Latin American Fashion Summit takes place every year in the heart of Miami's Design District. The event brings together some of Latin America's top designers and keynote speakers like Diane Von Furstenberg and Carmen Busquests Co-Founder of Net-A-Porter for it’s busy 3 day event. The Summit’s objective is to provide an empowerment platform to encourage up-and-coming designers and Latin American entrepreneurs in the fashion space, by providing them with a support network to succeed and connect with broader international audience.
